She's ready for a retraction test! Installed
the two main gear actuators this morning. Each day, she looks more and more like a proud interceptor. The wheel and tires are at the local paint shop. They are ready to be mounted and she will then be fully towable. Today's work crew consisted of Steve "Sand Blaster" Farnsworth, Scott Mills, Jimmy Heinz and Lani Duquette. The hangar was sweep clean and once again put to bed for the winter. The picture of the status board reflects some of the projects for next spring. |
