The second day of restoration

Thursday - August 4, 2005 "Woody" Wood, David Olson, Bill Dauling and Lani Duquette were able to get together and take care of a few odds-n-ends that needed to be addressed for the restoration of 56-0461.

Even though they could not work on the aircraft this week pending an agreement that needs to be signed by Marquette County, they were able to do some measuring for some sheet metal repair plus take some scrap wood and make a few work benches. It was not a wasted day. We hope to have the agreement issue solved by next week.

Getting the wings reinstalled is one step closer - the wing pins are back from the fabricator.  If all goes as scheduled, we hope to hang the first wing within the next couple of weeks.

DAY 2 of the Restoration

Measure twice - cut once.

Something seems to be missing. What MA-1 problem?

Workbenches were needed ...

So workbenches were put together!
