August 18 ... slow day, only one job done

Thursday August 18, 2005 - only one task was assigned today - INSTALL THE RIGHT WING

The Thursday restoration crew worked long and hard and because of excellent preparation the right wing of 461 was installed and is now being supported by jacks.  The Day 5 Team consisted of: Tommy Lew, Dave Olson, Jim Heinz, Scott Mills, Steve Farnsworth, Lee Nellist, Lani Duquette, Bill Downling & Scott Ranta.

This is a huge step because now they've got experience and the left wing will be that much easier.  Also this will give us our first peek at how the main gear will hang.

Keep watching for more updates.

Today's task were:

  • Mount the right wing
