FB-111A tail number 68-0239, nicknamed "Rough Night", was accepted by the Air Force on December 9th, 1969. It was assigned to Plattsburgh AFB, New York. While assigned to Plattsburgh AFB the aircraft served on satellite alert at K I Sawyer AFB during the early 70's. On July 11th, 1991 the fighter-bomber was flown in to K I Sawyer AFB for static display. This aircraft flew 6122 hours in 22 years of service. |
