The team is on a mission! Everybody worked hard today. Thanks guys! Strut collars fit great and they will hold the jet up and look good. Our thanks to "Junior" over at American Eagle Airlines for the great fabrication. Volunteer Terry Pihlainen discovered the "miracle" cleaner from WAL-MART believe it or not. It does a bang up job under the wings. Steve Farnsworth prepared the speed brake boards and area for final closure planned for after some minor sheet metal work. Woody and Jim Heinz once again spent the day buckin rivets and pulling cherry-mac's. Our next work session will be next Tuesday morning at 9 am. Then of course Thursday morning at 9 am. We are trying to set up for a major wash down of the jet on Saturday May 20. More on that later. Just want to tell everyone that it is great to back on our "labor of love!"
